| What is Chiropractic? |
| “Chiropractic is a philosophy, science and art of things natural; a system of adjusting the segments of the spinal column by hand only, for the correction of the cause of dis-ease.” – CHIROPRACTIC TEXTBOOK BY RALPH W. STEPHENSON, D.C., PH.C. 1927 |
| Basically, Chiropractic activates the potential of Human Being by keeping the nervous system and intellectual system function within normal range. |
| Chiropractic Fundamentals | Chiropractic Definition |
| 1. Universal Intelligence | Infinite, unlimited, no boundaries, not defined. It is the source of everything in the Universe. It occupies in all spaces and matters (immaterial and material). |
| 2. Innate Intelligence | Finite, limited, bounded. It is an individualized universal intelligence which keep a matter in active organization (Mankind). |
| Summary | The Universal Intelligence created and is maintaining everything in the universe. This is manifested by a movement called Life. A specific, definite portion of this intelligence, localized in a definite portion of matter and keeping it actively organized, is called by Chiropractic, Innate Intelligence. |
| Three Phases of Chiropractic Study: |
| 1. Study of Immaterial (Philosophy, Intelligence, Laws, Causes, Effects, Rules, Theories, Function etc.) |
| 2. Study of Material (Anatomy, Histology, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology etc.) |
| 3. Study of Art (Analysis, Palpation and Adjustment etc.) |
| The Triune of Chiropractic Wisdom | Chiropractic Definition |
| 1. Philosophy | Study of Cause. Believe in Innate’s ability to restore normal health and coordination of an active organization (Human). |
| 2. Science | Connection of Immaterial and Material: Intelligence, Force, Matter |
| 3. Art | Consists of skill in analysis, palpation and adjusting vertebrae, most of it requiring dexterity with the hands. How to restore the governed forces of intelligence to matter, when those forces are lacking in the dis-eased tissues of the body of a “living thing.” |
